Repetitive Strain injuries (RSI) accounts for 34% of all lost
work-day injury and illness. That means that more people suffer
from injuries caused by repetitive motion (such as keyboarding)
than those with back injuries from heavy lifting!
- Do you have trouble taking breaks from sitting at the computer
even when your neck, back, shoulders and/or wrists are overworked?
- Did you know that Medical professionals recommend stretch breaks
every 30 minutes when working on the computer?
- Do you use the computer as an integral part of your business?
You can protect yourself from painful overuse syndromes in many
cases by stretching for only 10 to 15 minutes each day.* These
stretches are most effective when broken up into short one to two
minute intervals throughout the workday.
Imaginaire is an animated stretch break reminder that pops up
in a small window on your computer screen while you are on the
computer. You specify the interval between messages (i.e. every
30 minutes) and the number of seconds the message stays on the
screen.
Two Themes come with your software package of Imaginaire — one
for guided stretch breaks and one for inspiration. You can use
the included themes, create your own messages, as well as buy additional
Themes
from our store.
You can set whatever theme you would like to pop up during the
day, depending on whether you need to be guided through stretches
or you need some inspiration.
